i read from your true home by thich nhat hanh. https://www.shambhala.com/your-true-home-1771.html
such powerful voices
i am inspired and humble in their presence. i absorb their lyrics, their insight, and their knowledge. i need all the help i can get in my quest of finishing my novel.
i know when i connect to voices who are of importance to me. i am surrounded by hundreds of voices whom i’ve listened to and read. they fill up my bookcases and my you tube channel.
the important ones i keep reading from day to day to nourish myself. ambrosia and nectar for the soul.
Bringing forth a novel is kind of like being pregnant — you’ve got to take in quality stuff to nourish what you’re incubating. So good for you š
Looking forward to reading your book one day, Elizabeth.
Thank you Jan šš»
Thank you for sharing the wonderful suggestions with, Elizabeth. Anything by Thich Nhat Hahn goes on my TBR list. Nourishing the soul is at least as important as nourishing the body.
Yes, absolutely šš»
